Management Accountant Vacancy

Job Overview:

Reporting to the Head of Finance the Management Accountant will be responsible for working with company management to help them make upper level management decisions to aid growth and profit. Provide financial information to inform business strategy. Act as primary interface with clients. Ensure that all billings are run and managed efficiently and effectively. Assist with planning and commercial decision making by providing appropriate financial information and undertaking accounts administration.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Management Accounts
  • Assist the Head of Finance with all aspects of the development and effective operation of the management accounts function across the Conrad Global Group
  • Prepare reports, budgets, commentaries and financial statements
  • Reconcile spending with budgets
  • Undertake financial administration and internal audits
  • Develop and manage financial systems/policies
  • Negotiate and obtain finance for projects as required
  • Control and forecast income and expenditure
  • Assist with the management, processing and troubleshooting of various financial accounts and transactions
  • Perform calculations to produce financial analyses and reports as requested by the Head of Finance and the management team
  • Oversee and manage individual accounts as required
  • Assist with the billing function as required
  • Ensure all financial calculations and data entries are correct
  • Answers question and provide assistance to stakeholders, customers, and clients as needed

  • Share / spread knowledge with team members as well as other internal teams
  • Pro-active in maintaining and increasing the teams and your own work-related knowledge
  • Identify training needs or requirements for yourself individually
  • Ensure all relevant databases/spreadsheets are kept fully updated
  • Ensure all customer/client related documentation is up-to-date
  • Contribute to management reports and performance reporting

Technical Skills & Experiences
  • A recognised finance qualification such as ACCA
  • Knowledge of accounting terms and concepts
  • Understanding of finance regulations and legislation
  • Knowledge of business strategy and methodology
  • Advanced level of I.T skills particularly MS Excel with regard to spreadsheets and formula/financial calculations
  • Advanced level of literacy and numeracy skills
  • Awareness of the Data Protection Act and how this applies within the Group
  • Familiarity with business principles and practices

Desirable Knowledge & Key Skills

  • Degree in corporate finance or business administration
  • Previous experience working within the telecommunication industry


  • Based in the centre of Norwich
  • Hours 8:30am -5:30pm (plus hours needed to complete role)
  • Salary Dependant on experience
