Over the two days we were challenging both members and non-members of Anglia Farmers who visited the pavilion to think about how communications could help them work smarter and more efficient across the extensive portfolio of communication and connectivity solutions we can offer.
We were fortunate enough to have fantastic support from Samsung trainer David who popped along to showcase the latest Galaxy’s smartphone range, and it was not just the Galaxy S6 Edge people were talking about. The Samsung Galaxy A5 generated most interest with its fantastic looks and specification when compared against the iPhone 6. Plus it has a RRP price tag of £190 less! The entry level Galaxy Core Prime also stood out well with visitors and the ruggerdised Samsung Galaxy Xcover 3 and Galaxy Tab Active was a source of interest to those working in tough situations and logistics. We feel the Samsung Galaxy really does have a smartphone to cater for any budget or situation.
Using a VR headset combined with a Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy S6, Samsungs virtual reality experience headset mesmorised vistors young and old as they scuba dived with sharks, experienced 360 views from around the globe, entered the world of Jurassic Park and became part of a Cirque Du Soleil experience.
Businesses such as Estate Agents and Holiday Companies are beginning to utilise the Samsung VR headsets as a sales tool as they are able to recreate 360 VR experiences of houses and holiday resorts so customers can get an experience while just being in the shop rather than just looking at photographs.
Visitors to our stand also had a chance to win a Samsung Galaxy A5 by taking the Comm-Tech ‘Smarter Comms Challenge’. Attendees were lining up to pit there skills against a Batak machine to hit as many lights as possible in 30 seconds. Of course there could only be one winner and with a whopping 42 hits in 30 seconds Hannah Wait emerged victorious. Congratulations Hannah
Our MD Justin also had a go. Check out the video opposite to see him in action!
We also saw the Royal Norfolk Show as the ideal opportunity to promote the latest toughphone range from RugGear. It may have been 30 degrees but the RugGear range of toughphones can handle tempatures twice as hot and also combined features of Dual SIM, SOS buttons, PTT, and much much more across the range.
We also talked smarter ways of working across our Fixed and Mobile Solutions including Vodafone One Net, How we are saving 55% on clients telecoms and identifying if they have access to Superfast broadband that can streamline businesses.
And to complete a great two days exhibiting at the Royal Norfolk Show in the Anglia Farmers Pavilion we would like to say a huge congratulations to Anglia Farmers for winning the Norwich Union Insurance Society Challenge Cup. The cup is awarded for the most effective and well laid out display at The Royal Norfolk Show by an exhibitor in the services industry.
