|Job title||Operations Coordinator|
In the first of our new ‘meet the team’ series we introduce to you our Operations Coordinator Tammy whose hard work and dedication probably goes unnoticed to many of our clients. Tammy is definitely one Comm-Tech’s unsung heroes.
What does your job involve?
My role is to ensure any new requests and orders are processed as smoothly and efficiently as possible so we as a business continue to offer exceptional levels of customer service.
From a simple order and installation of a car kit, adding a new connection to a customers mobile account, to the porting or migration of a new client’s complete mobile account containing multiple tariffs, bolt-ons and handset upgrades, it is my responsibility to make sure every step of the order process is completed correctly within tight time frames, and keeping all parties updated of the progress.
Providing reports to managers and directors on completed and outstanding jobs with recommendations on new operations procedures is another key area of my role.
What skills have you attained working for Comm-Tech?
Liaising with internal departments, suppliers, network providers and our customers on a daily basis has given me the ability to build great relationships and develop good communication skills.
The continuous growth of the business means the development of my organisational skills has been key to ensure more orders and requests are being processed within my working day.
On a lighter note, I have also seemed to have gained the task of organising the Comm-Tech social nights out. No idea why I have been given that responsibility!
What have been your achievements to date?
Being part of the Comm-Tech team that won the Vodafone Platinum Partner award for Best Customer Retention.
Assisting the Sales Director in continually managing the mobile solutions of key blue light organisations which consists of thousands of connections and handsets.
Being part of a team that has seen Comm-Tech grow rapidly during the past 9 years with the business relocating from the village of Martham to the City Centre of Norwich.
What are your interests outside of Comm-Tech and do you have any claims to fame?
When out of work I enjoy dining out in various restaurants, experiencing a multitude of cuisines, although my favourite has to be a good Italian.
Whether it’s going out to shout ‘HOUSE’ playing bingo, being sophisticated visiting museums and shows, or having adrenalin junkie weekends at theme parks, spending time with my family and friends is very important to me.
And like most I enjoy nothing more than relaxing with spa days and pampering treatments.
