HTC last night launched their latest model – the 4G-ready HTC One, which looks set to be a success after positive first-look reviews. The new handset has an extremely attractive design. with a refined and entirely aluminium, sleek body. Despite it being relatively lightweight, weighing in at only 143g, it incorporates a 4.7” improved full HD screen made from innovative Infinity Glass, eliminating glare and resisting scratches.

The technical specifications of the handset compete with latest models from other manufacturers, with it running a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor with 2GB RAM. Advanced voice technology Sense Voice improves call quality, even when in loud, crowded environments.

The HTC One runs on the Android Jelly Bean platform with a new live interface, called BlinkFeed™, which integrates your calendar events, photos, news choices and social network feeds. All stream live to your home screen, seamlessly keeping you up to date with what’s important to you.

HTC have heavily invested in the multimedia technology on this new handset. BoomSound™, from Beats, banishes the typical tinny mobile speaker experience, running from dual frontal stereo speakers with built-in amplifiers, to deliver better quality sound with less distortion.

The new HTC UltraPixel Camera, or HTC Zoe™, captures up to 20 photos and a 3 second video when you press the shutter, bringing your photos to life. The camera captures significantly more light then previous models, resulting in a dramatic increase in photo quality, with more clarity, contrast and detail. Another innovative feature is the built in TV remote. Using Sense TV, you are able to select TV channels, access program guides, adjust audio and be reminded of your favourite shows.

It is likely to be available in both 32GB and 64GB versions when it is released for sale on the 15th March. Please register your interest below and as always we will keep you up to date as soon as we have further information.
