This year was an exciting one for Comm-Tech, exhibiting for the first time at the Royal Norfolk Show with our own stand space in the Agricultural section. Our entire team worked extremely hard both leading up to and during the show, and everyone agreed that the days spent designing and building our colourful stand were certainly worth it!
People went on a trip down memory lane with our display of phones dating back to the establishment of Comm-Tech in 1986, showing how communications have changed over the 27 years that we’ve been in business.
Visitors to our stand got hands on with all the latest handsets and learnt about the benefits of different operating systems. They could also check out the latest Windows Phone 8 handsets and Lumia accessories on the impressive Nokia Lumia Business Bus.
Our tough phone testing area showed how tough the latest smartphones from CAT and JCB could get. Our tests put the phones through their paces, still working after being put through their paces in a cement mixer, dropped from various heights and full submersion in a tank of water.
The Dorset Police Tractor was undoubtedly our most popular attraction. Complete with lights and sirens, it certainly grabbed attention from everyone passing! The tractor highlights the increasing prevalence of agricultural crime, and how farmers should consider protecting their expensive equipment with tracking devices, enabling their property to be quickly recovered by police.
Walking around the show, there was plenty on offer and the fantastic weather put everybody in a great mood. Whilst we were disappointed to miss out on the trade stand awards, the winners were worthy ones and, for Comm-Tech, there’s always next year!
