The BBC’s Children in Need appeal has raised a record £26.7m from donations pledged during this year’s live show of celebrity performances. The charity’s chairwoman, Stevie Spring, said she was “absolutely thrilled” by the amount raised during the show on Friday night – around £1.4m more than last year.
Gavin Raines Marketing Manager took part by shaving his head to a grade One, raising over £250 for the cause. “Having a cold head is a small price to pay to help such a good cause, thanks to all those who donated”
Huge thanks to the staff at sheers and Chris for shaving Gavin’s head and donating the money from the cut to charity. If you would like to know more about, Children in Need and the work they do you can do so by clicking here
