Windows Phone 8 is the second generation of the Windows Phone mobile operating system from Microsoft. iOS has a simple, user-friendly graphical interface and the most extensive selection of apps available, making these devices a great choice for your business handsets.

With iOS, you are always kept up to date, as updates are generally compatible with a range of handsets. A number of helpful features help you stay in contact, including built-in instant messaging (iMessage), hands-free Siri voice control (on selected devices) and free video calling with FaceTime. Whilst iOS is less customisable than some other mobile operating systems due to restrictions from Apple, this does result in high security standards and less risk to your business.

As an ‘open source’ operating system, Android is extremely flexible, as developers are free to use the software to develop intuitive applications. Furthermore, unlike other operating systems, such as iOS, there are a number of device manufacturers supporting Android, giving you greater freedom and flexibility. Whether you need basic handsets or the latest smartphone, there is an Android handset to suit you.

Handsets are backed up with notable support from Google for features such as internet search and maps, along with a substantial app store and great multitasking capabilities.
